Nyja — Slavic for "Nightmares, Ruler of the Underworld" — was born on June 11, 2025, out of Cilly av Garm Haus and Bronko-Bill Von Den Wolf Apostel. She is Joe's first working-line dog.

Nyja was born ready to work. She has a natural love for protection work and is teaching Joe just as much as he's teaching her in the world of dog sport. Joe and Nyja became MSC members in fall of 2026 and are now working toward their BH certification, enjoying every step of the journey together.

Off duty, Nyja shares a home with three young children and a White Swiss Shepherd.
